Our Mission:
To provide compassionate community support services that promote independence, wellbeing, dignity, and connection for older adults and caregivers.
Our History
In January 1989, the Ministry of Community and Social Services identified a growing need for home support services for seniors living in Haldimand and Norfolk Counties. In June 1991, the organization was officially incorporated and obtained charitable status. Over the years, Seniors Support Services has expanded its programs to meet evolving community needs.
Today, it supports older adults and adults with cognitive, developmental, intellectual, mental, or physical disabilities through diverse community services. Accessible support remains vital in helping residents stay safe, connected, and independent across the region’s rural communities.
