Upcoming Events in Haldimand:
We Wish all of our clients and families the happiest New Year!
In October clients enjoyed turkey bowling and a turkey lunch for thanksgiving, as well as celebrating Octoberfest with an authentic German meal. The Haldimand County museum speaker shared tales about haunted houses in the area. We ended the month with a Halloween party.
In November we enjoyed the intergenerational program with visits from the Dunnville Christian School, which is always enjoyed by everyone. We welcomed the Haldimand County Museum back for a Remembrance Day presentation. Clients were kept busy making crafts for our annual Christmas bazaar and the Wilson MacDonald Memorial Museum came in to demonstrate how to make Christmas swags for our doors.
December is always a fun filled month with decorating gingerbread houses, baking cookies, snowman and reindeer games. Clients attended the Dunnville Christian School concert, as well as welcoming family for our Annual Christmas party. Clients enjoyed entertainment with Donall and Cyndi and a visit from Santa. We will be ending the year with a Pancake breakfast to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.
It has been a great last three months at the Hagersville Integrated Adult Day Program. We celebrated Oktoberfest and Halloween in October, remembered our Veterans in November, and gathered together for the annual Family Christmas Party in December. We have also begun visiting again with the school kids from Walpole North Elementary School – a visit that everyone seems to enjoy.
We have had a very positive and productive 2018, and hope for an even better 2019!
